The CONDUIT journey began over three years ago with an interest in being an active part of the private sector investment and development for an Arts and Entertainment district in the downtown area of the New Jersey State Capitol in Trenton. As a result, the URBANWORD® Café was created. The URBANWORD® became the first private investment entertainment venture to become part of the Capitol City’s redevelopment. With help from our good friends and loyal customers, we have been fortunate to establish our customer friendly, live entertainment nightspot and eatery as “the place to go” in the center of this urban redevelopment area. But it wasn’t enough... With an understanding of the need for a mid-size marquee talent venue in the further development of this entertainment district, Trenton Makes LLC and URBANWORD® have now taken another step on this journey. CONDUIT… a music club CONDUIT is a 500-plus capacity entertainment facility. It has been designed and built to operate as a live stage performance showroom, high-energy dance club and multi-purpose Rental Facility. To enhance these features which include multiple stage, dance floor and seating configurations, CONDUIT has installed a fully integrated, dual-purpose, state of the art sound and lighting system. To further enhance the total CONDUIT experience, conduitmusic.com has been developed as a fully interactive and integrated way to come along with us on our new journey… From all of us at Trenton Makes LLC and the URBANWORD®, thanks for checking us out and we look forward to seeing you at CONDUIT…a music club.
